On Krishnamurti's Teachings
In 1974 Professor Anderson was invited by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America to interview Krishnamurti for the purpose of documenting Krishnamurti's teachings in the round. The conversations were wide-ranging and fascinating. They were later published under the title A Wholly Different Way of Living.
While the two men came from vastly different backgrounds, they met on the common ground of a meditative inquiry into human nature. In subsequent years Professor Anderson continued to develop themes touched upon in those earlier conversations. He wrote several papers and gave a number of talks on aspects of Krishnamurti's teachings. He also taught a seminar on Krishnamurti at San Diego State University. His papers, talks and a transcription of that most unique seminar are collected here for the first time.
